Speakers
Kevin Mather
Former President & CEO of Northern California World Trade Center (Retired)
Recently retired and still consulting on a limited basis, Kevin Mather is the former President and CEO of the World Trade Center Northern California in Sacramento, CA. He graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly SLO. After a stint in the semiconductor industry, Kevin joined a start-up in Sacramento focused on commercial construction tools, which he describes as his "practical MBA." He then spent nearly 24 years in the EdTech industry, with two decades dedicated to international business.
Kevin led the World Trade Center – Northern California team for nearly a decade. In his role as CEO, Kevin was responsible for the strategy and execution of programs aiding SME businesses in international trade and implementing the International Visitor Leadership Program for the US Department of State. He has traveled to over 60 countries and values the friendships formed with former business partners.
Kevin and his wife Cheryl have two adult sons and live in Carmichael with their cats, Dawg and Claire. Kevin is an avid fly fisherman and downhill skier.
