Brad Squires
Sacramento Venture Philanthropy
Chief Executive Officer

Brad Squires is a mission-driven business and community entrepreneur. He spent the first half of his career as a technology founder and executive, starting and growing a number of SaaS software companies. He has a knack for developing healthy organizational cultures by aligning mission and values into his teams.
Brad serves as the CEO for Social Venture Partners Sacramento which is building communities of generosity to strengthen nonprofits in the Greater Sacramento region. Brad is passionate about the nonprofit ecosystem and actively works to bring together key leaders and influencers to create partnerships, connection, and collaboration to address some of the region’s most difficult social challenges.

Brad also serves as Founder & CEO of the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Community Foundation, which seeks to build a more flourishing community. As a community entrepreneur, Brad led the effort to create the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank & Farm which supports over 35,000 people each year and grows over 15,000 pounds of organic vegetables on the farm next door. Brad has invested 15 years into strengthening and growing his community through a leadership role with the Chamber of Commerce, and by creating 8-10 different programs and organizations that address various social needs and bring the community together.

Brad and his wife Megan also operate a u-pick flower farm called Heirloom Acres Farm which provides a beautiful outdoor experience in the summer for thousands of people every year. 

Kelly Siefkin  
Chief Philanthropy Officer
Sacramento Region Community Foundation

Kelly Siefkin serves as the Foundation’s Chief Philanthropy Officer. A key member of the organization’s leadership, Kelly works with generous local people to inspire charitable giving that strengthens the capital area, including fundraising efforts aligned with the Foundation’s focus area.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Kelly served as Director of Development for Sacramento State, supporting the College of Continuing Education and Alumni Association, where she raised funds to foster success for non-traditional learners and the university’s large alumni base. Previously, Kelly served as the Vice President of Communications & Marketing at Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. During more than a decade there, she led the organization’s marketing and public relations efforts, strengthened its fundraising, managed many of its volunteers, and helped orchestrate Run to Feed the Hungry, the largest Thanksgiving Day fun run event in the country.

Kelly holds a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and was named one of Sacramento Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2016, which acknowledges area leaders under 40 who excel in their professions and contributions to the community. In addition, Kelly served on the governing board of the California 4-H Foundation, held multiple leadership positions for the local chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, is an alumna of Leadership Sacramento, and recently graduated from the American Leadership Forum, Class XXVI. She received the Volunteer Spirit Award for Volunteer Coordinator of the Year in Sacramento County and served as a mentor for Big Day of Giving, the Foundation’s annual giving day. Kelly enjoys time serving as a sustainer of the Junior League of Sacramento, the organization that founded the Foundation over 40 years ago.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from University of California, Davis, and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

Freddie Silveria

President 

Freddie Silveria, CAI, BAS is the only fundraising auctioneer in California to earn the most prestigious three year Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation from the National Auction Association (NAA) at Indiana University. Freddie is 1 of 14 auctioneers in California to earn his Benefit Auction Specialist (BAS) designation from the NAA in Las Vegas. He is a bilingual graduate from the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Iowa. He is an Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) board member, Impact Foundry faculty speaker, Social Venture Partners (SVP) nonprofit coach and proud rotarian. Freddie was awarded Sacramento’s 40 Under 40, Habitat for Humanity’s Community Partner of the Year and Saint Mary’s College (CA) Alum of the Decade. In addition to fundraising, Freddie has spoken professionally with over 250,000 6th-12th graders for over a decade about creating communities of care.

Todd Koolakian

In my role as the Director of Philanthropy for the Sacramento Children's Home I oversee the SCH's Philanthropy Department and all of its fundraising, marketing and public relations activities.  I am responsible for developing and implementing SCH's philanthropic strategies and activities, including donor development and relations, board engagement, fundraising events and corporate partnerships. I am committed to building relationships that help grow awareness and resources to support the mission of SCH to open doors to the future by maximizing the potential of children and families in the Sacramento region. In my life outside of work, I am an active member of the Sacramento community, engaging myself in volunteer work with several community organizations including the Sacramento LGBT Community Center, the Rotary Club of Sacramento, the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
